This is an idea that has been turning around in the back of my mind for awhile now. It was nice to finally get it recorded. I expect to use more percussion sounds on one of the tracks on the next album. This is an R&D experiment.
I took a couple of patch adapters and cross patched the EMW-200 with the MU modules in the Command Center rack. An EMW sample hold pattern is being fed to the STG Sea Devils filter, the filter is being modulated by the Krisp1 LFO. Another EMW oscillator is being ring modulated by the S/H pattern with the Krisp1 Ring Modulator module. At least that is how I remember the patch. I played some improvised drums over the top of it with the V-Drums.
